The Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey and Culture Club US Tour 2018

Charlotte is currently on tour with The Thompson Twin’s Tom Bailey, supporting Culture Club on their 3 month tour across a vast majority of the United States.

Amongst her first few days, Charlotte and the band have been gigging in Orlando, Florida, as well as all over Texas.

Watch this space for more updates, photos and videos of the tour!

  1. Hey Charlotte,
Saw you last night in Annapolis with Tom Bailey at the Rams Head! What a great show, great venue too! You were great and looked like you were having so much fun, I know we did! We loved seeing Tom. Good luck with the rest of the tour.

    1. Hi Mark!
Thank you so much for this lovely comment! We really do have a blast every show, and as a band love playing with Tom, it’s an absolute pleasure! So glad you enjoyed the show, I love these smaller gigs, very intimate and full of diehard fans!
Thank you very much, off in Boston today back with the B52’s and Culture Club!
      Thanks and best,

  2. Caught you at Foxwoods on Sunday Aug. 5. First time seeing Tom. Been a fan since ’82. You all were great.

  3. Charlotte,
Were you with Tom for the performance in Springfield IL? If Tom introduced the band, I didn’t hear him. Who was playing which instrument including bass. The show was great even though ithe sound engineer had the bass range cranked so high that my chair was vibrating. Everyone one stage looked to be having fun!

  4. Hi Charlotte!
My buddy and I were at the Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis last night… we went to see the B-52’s and didn’t know what to expect from a single Thompson Twin, but we ended up being blown away at the energy you all had to start the show! We were fortunate enough to be sitting right in front of you and were very impressed! We weren’t surprised at all to learn what an accomplished artist you are!
Keep up the good work and enjoy the rest of the tour!
Hope to see you perform again in St Louis…

  5. Yep. Saw you folks last night at the Washington State Fair. The most immediate thing that struck me was how HUGE the sound was for a 4 piece. Tight, obvious masters of the craft~ You guys were great~

    1. Hi Kevin! Thank you so much! It’s really great playing all together, and as a four we seem to work really well! It’s such a pleasure to play with Tom, an absolute musical legend! Here’s to the next shows! Thanks for coming! All the best,

  6. Hi, Charlotte, Saw you September 19 at the Mountain Winery, Saratoga, CA, USA, opening for the B-52s and Culture Club. Outstanding show in a beautiful venue. You sounded great! It was terrific to see you and your band mates play and sing alongside Tom Bailey, both classic and new material. Quite a sight in blinding white! As much fun as that was for you (clearly!) and as it was for us, I think you deserve recognition and some sort of showcase for your own talents and compositions as well. Are any recordings of your music available in the USA? By the way, belated congratulations on the Shell win! Did not know about that until I discovered your web site. Well earned and well deserved. Have a great rest of the tour! Cheers, thanks, and best regards, John

    1. Hi John,
It really was a beautiful venue, one of the most beautiful we’ve played this tour so far! Thank you so much, it means a lot to me and all of us to hear such positive reactions to the show, it really is a tight great sounding experience! Tom being a legend, it’s always such a great pleasure playing with him.
I haven’t actually published much of my music yet, however I am looking to get more of it out there into the public domain. Still trying to make the right connections into the compositional world, which is building slowly which is great! Hopefully to be in the USA soon!
Thank you so much regarding the Shell win, it was a great one to win!
Glad to see my website is getting out there.
      Thanks for your comments John.
      All the best,
